My first two boyfriends were two years older than me; my current bf/fiance is two years younger. I think a husband and wife should be close in age, not only because research has proven that similarities are what generally keep people together, but also because it's nice to be at the same point in life. Sometimes older people and younger people can find common ground and it works. I'm all for it if it does. But generally speaking, it's nice to have someone in the same cohort who was raised with the same music, movies, schooling philosophies, etc. It's a personal decision though. Good luck! :]

well I guys like to married a younger women than them,but they forget that they will get old and not satisfy a younger wife as she would like and this could be a problem.Otherwise I don't think is a appropriate age to fall in love with a person just a little bit of self understanding.

I think that 'gap' has widened and even disappeared anymore these days. Normal is in the eyes of the beholder.... My husband is 3 years my jr. I think anything less than 10 yrs difference is perfectly do-able unless one of the two is a MINOR of course! :)

i think it depend on you and your personality. if you r wilful,headstrong, u'd better have a boy friend who is much older than u,like 5to10 years distance.but if urnt, then just choose anyone u like, of course he likes u too.
