Do you agree with this statement and why?

Yes because it just makes sense. Because yesterday was the other first day but since yesterday is yesterday and yesterday is over that would mean today is the first day, but not tomorrow because tomorrow is a day away, but when it is tomorrow you could say that it is the first day because it IS the first day of the rest of your life. It keeps changing everyday.

Ha, not today I don't agree with that statement. But on January 1 I sure will be thinking about that.
But, I htink that that is a good thing to live by. Pretent that today is a new start, forget regret, live.

Yes, today is going to be whatever we make it. It could be the first day of the rest of our lives -- we could start all over; no questions asked.

The day I got out of rehab was supposedly "the first day of the rest of my life". But of course, the day I was born was the first day of the rest of my life.
