thinking about trading in suv for a mini-van but don't want the stigma of an old "soccer mom"..No offense to you lovely ladies who already drive those tight mini vans :-)!!

Coming from a 29 yo male, if you're a MILF, you're a MILF. I don't care if you're driving a rikshaw. If you are worried about how a guy will feel because you've got kids - don't. No guy is worth your time if he thinks kids are a negative or make you less attractive.

I think it depends on the "mom" is she a cutie and if the vehicle shows no signs of "mominess" I used to drive a Pacifica - 7 passenger family car - and I still got chatted up by the local guys some pretty young ones too - very nice. It really is all about attitude not the car for ladies. My Sister drives an SUV and runs a flooring store - she has no trouble getting dates even in her less than feminine job. It's all in how the woman chooses to take her vehicle is it a means of transportation or her identity? Once you answer that you know if the mini-van is for you. Good Luck!

You may have a point there. I used to get looks all the time. Now....nothing...since the mini van. And here I thought I was just aging and growing ugly. whew...time to change automobles. My car screams cheer mom! haha :)

No, they deifinitely do not.
A mini-van is a symbol of responsibility and soccer-mom life. You definitely will be viewed as taken, with children and a husband. Men wont even look your way. Don't do it.

In my area, most women who drive minivans are those with 4+ kids in the back. Most are migrant workers and every date would likely equate to another child. :)
