Dude. It's Amway with a new name. I suggest that you look on the net and see what people are saying.

I had to review it for a client with an ethics question when I was on active duty. Ethically he was in the clear, but it seems a very questionable way to make money.

You'll find if you dig deeply that the folks who make money on such things are making it in the "tools" business (inspirational tapes, etc) rather than in the actual business.

My opinion: RUN.

This is a business that involves direct selling and recruiting of your friends and family.

As someone who has been in a company with a similar business model, I can attest to it. I have since moved on to Mortgage Loans and now overseeing a team of sales people.

What I once learned in the quixtar type business is very much applicable in my new world.

Before everyone tells you PYRAMID SCHEME. RUN!!!!!!!!!! (and of course you listen), I think this is something you may want to look into.

Now be ready for the operating costs. I don't care what anyone's told you in their Quixtar seminar. It will cost money and continue to cost money. Just because you understand that, as I do, it doesnt mean that everyone you come across will. They may have similar responses as the one in all caps (above).

To answer your question straight out - Safe? Well, depends on what you mean, but it is a company that has been around for a while. I'm sure theyve seen their days in court and have pushed forward from it. -Then again, there are lots of network marketing companies that will try to take advantage of you. Not to mention - If you look up NETWORK MARKETING TIPS or something on Google, you will find so many third party websites trying to take your money! Their philosophy..."Once they buy in network marketing, they will continue to buy." aka "buy their 'new and improved' method of sales, and you will continue to buy for the rest of your life."

Doesnt mean they're all bad. Just the good ones are a needle in the haystack.

Profitable? As with anything, the people at the top make the most money. Quixtar is old, so you rising to the top top is probably unlikely, but it doesnt mean 20-30K a month is impossible. As quixtar grows, you go along for the ride.

Is it a legit business - Absolutely
Can you make money doing it - Absolutely NOT

90% of the people who join lose money and quit after a year or two. Some people "drink the kool-aid" and think they will be rich in the long run while every year they lose money.

Plus...you get an added bonus if you join. All of your friends and family will avoid you like the plague.
