How much do you wanna' bet that every morning, you have to go pee upon waking up, too; eh?
You're experiencing a pee erection...because you need to go pee.

Perfectly normal.
Well, you see - though what I am about to say is not proven - but I'm sure that it has something to do with it.

The sexual organs of the body AND the excretory organs of the body respond to the 'stimulation' of the parasympathetic nervous system. The great nerve of the parasympathetic system is named, "the vagus/vagal nerve". This nerve when allowed to overtake the usually more dominant [daytime] sympathetic nerves of the body - which sympathetic system is that usually used to give the body its energy during times of work, flight, fight, and intense concentration, etc. - stimulates your urinary, excretory and sexual organs.

During the day, when you are working or when your concentration is needed elsewhere, the vagal nerve of the parasympathetic system is inhibited. It is therefore, the usual case that the sympathetic nervous system takes over during the day, and alerts all your bodily muscles and the connected valves that close off any uncontrolled release of liquid flow within the urinogenital area of the body.
It is the vagal nerve's job, however, to relax the body, and, importantly, to relax the muscles of the lower abdomen which normally govern the containment of the operation of your urinogenital area during times of work, or during other point to life.
When you sleep, however, your whole body relaxes.
As such, this allows the parasympathetic vagal nerve to become the more dominant system of the two, thus relaxing the muscular sphincters [valves] which contain sexual activity during work periods, etc., which in turn, then release the flow of liquids into the urinogenital area.
As the reason that a penis becomes erect is as a result of blood flowing into it, the relaxation of its associated root valves therefore results in a free flow of blood into the penile area, therefore ultimately creating an erection.
This relaxation of valves in the urinogenital area is largely why your bladder is also full in the morning and why you tend to have a 'hard-on' when you wake up, as well.

"OoOoOoh OoOoOh OoOh don't worry, be happy!"
