Hello I just started playing F.E.A.R. online after not playing online gaming for years. After about 5-10 minutes there is always really total lag from anywehre from 10 seconds to minutes. Sometimes I get disconnected (and even banned sometimes) from the server. Happens on all the servers whenever I play. Needless to say this is very annoying and screws my game. It's pretty smooth and I have <100 ping on many servers besides these times. I have comcast cable and I think its not as good at this location as where I lived before. Should I try to switch to DSL or are there some settings or anything else I could try?

nah, its the connection, I have a 7900 GS, runs fine in single player

You should get a plan that includes better speed for the game you are running (although you will have to pay a good amount of money for it depending on what service you use).

Video card probably get 7800GT
DSL is fine for gaming 1MB of speed.
