No.
Its good to have just one day in the year when we can stop everything!
Life's such a hurry and a day to relax and stop moving all over London is good.
I'm sure the bus, tube and train drivers appreciate being able to go home to their families at Christmas.

Yes, quite illogical - bearing in mind that on Boxing Day there is a normal Sunday service after 08.30. Some years ago, and for several years, the London Central bus company and a couple of others ran a skeleton service on a number of routes on a commercial basis (higher fares than normal). They were well used and there was no shortage of volunteer drivers to man them. However Transport for London brought pressure on the companies to stop these services because they were not part of the normal TfL franchised bus operation - i.e. "it's not our idea, so stop it!"
It should be remembered that until about 1980 quite a few routes did run, though only from about 09.00-16.00 (And the maximum shift was 5 hours)
A fair proportion of London bus employees (and Londoners generally!) are not christians - so Christmas means little to them.

It's traditional, it's a Bank Holiday, and why can't transport workers sit down with their family to enjoy Christmas Dinner?
Thanks heavens there's one day special in the year still.

specific you will have the skill to get so a techniques as Paddington on a bus from Heathrow. A taxi from there to Kensington could be lots extra value-effective yet i don't know if there could be any taxis on the rank on Christmas day. it may be well worth taking some inner maximum taxi company numbers with you. this is not the tip of the international in case you ought to stroll from Paddington to Kensington, this is a few million.5 to 2 miles in keeping with the place in Kensington you are going to - so take a map too!!

well i believe that there shouldn't be public transport in London because the drivers want to be at home with their families instead they have to work.
