I think it's unlikely he'll be traded, but more likely that he'll opt out in 2008. If he's traded, the receiving team will not only have his $21 mil contract, but also a 15% trade kicker that would bump that to $24.15 mil in incoming salary. Not a lot of teams can eat that much money for one player, and the T'Wolves, with 14 players on their roster, can't take more than 2 players without waivers or buyouts of players with guaranteed contracts, which could cost them money, so trades with more than 2 players really aren't feasible.
Also, a multi-team trade is pretty unlikely. If you look at the big name players traded in the past few seasons, they've been trades between 2 teams (the Shaq trade, the AI trade, the TMac trade, the Artest trade, etc). I don't see a lot of teams wanting to help another team get a difference maker like KG.
I don't see KG being traded before the deadline simply because Minnesota wouldn't be able to get as good a deal as they would if they waited until the offseason. I think KG stays put for this season and next season, then opts out and goes to another team summer 2008, perhaps even for the mid-level exception if it means he has a shot at a title.
KG only gets traded if he demands one because he does have a no-trade clause in his contract. Minnesota has already made it clear they don't want to trade him, so he might not go anywhere anytime soon. So, everyone hoping to see KG on their favorite team will probably have to sit tight and wait for him to chose free agency.

There have been talks of him being traded to Chicago for
-Luol Deng
-Tyrus Thomas
-Chris Duhon
-and a Draft Pick
That would be a great fit for him and Chicago will become an immediate championship contender

costly kick decrease back McB, i think of of for each little ingredient that Garnett has finished for him to go away Minnesota he'd could have a large gamble to win the NBA perceive. The Lakers are a good in good shape for him simply by certainty he owns sources in l. a. and is large friends with Kobe Bryant. between the knocks on Kevin is that he looks to fade indoors the 4th quarter, indoors the take carry of. putting him with the main take carry of participant indoors the NBA takes that rigidity off of him- and possibility is with Kobe and Garnett they gained't be in too many very final 2nd situations. The Lakers could produce distinctive function game enthusiasts: like Luke Walton who do no longer want that many pictures, and that i think of of the very straightforward certainty that the two Kobe and Garnett call for a double group will make the triangle bypass nicely. Plus with a large guy you like a guy who can hit the mid-style jumper (KG!) it may make the Lakers particularly Championship contenders and that i think of of Garnett could have relaxing with collaborating in in a large industry. If the Lakers ought to get KG without giving up Lamar Odom they could placed him on the three and it may be risky. in the event that they had to grant up Lamar they could in all probability regardless of the fact that have youthful springing up Andrew Bynum. that they had have a large gamble to win 3 or extra suitable rings over the subsequent 5 years. i think of of the Lakers must be waiting to get him without giving something up simply by certainty he can come to a determination-out of his contract- so Minnesota rather could have traded him in the previous the time shrink. it rather is a in all probability subject simply by certainty Laker administration is conscious that the followers can no longer tolerate being a 40 3-40 8 win group and getting to around a million or 2 of the playoffs.
