Untill we assert our heratige and sack every PC in this country nothing is going to give us back our culture, in fact if we do not do something soon there will be no British culture left . Try doing the reverse of what she has done in her native country an see what would happen . Most likly stoning to death

I think it signifies the troubled relationships between them at the moment. In my mind its a bad attempt at increasing public relations. She would´t have done it ten years ago and it´s only now she does signifies a pathetic plea at an apology and show of support. The queen should go anyway , though good for tourist , is it really worth the money the tax payers pay. Im´m sure if you worked out the - no queen = less tourist but less money to pay. And tourist will always come for other more economic attractions.

This phenomenon is simply the presentation of extremes. The UK has a large minority of ethnic groups who, by and large, exist peaceably in this country, and, to whom, I feel that toleration and acceptance is growing, at least amongst sensible, thinking people. The woman in the veil represents one extreme.
We have another extreme - a small minority of the over-privileged who have powers vastly beyond their deserts, who are looked up to because of historical precedence and who are, de facto, an anachronism.
Niether the veiled Asian, nor the Queen, truly represent the people of the UK.

Interesting that they chose someone of a culture that does not celebrate Christmas, or accept the culture of the countries that do. Maybe Vicky Pollard should perform a speech at the end of the next Eid.

If they live here, Doesn't it make the Queen their Queen too!
if they can't accept her as such, they should return to a
culture that portrays their beliefs!

They should abide by the British RULES. No matter what colour, creed or race you are. All immigrants are living in England, so abide by the rules like the BRITS have to do.
