it was with my sony memory card. i only have madden files saved on it. it wont let me delete the corrupted files and to find the source i have never played any other game using this card so madden 2006 or 07 would be it and i have tried both.

Other than identifying the corrupted files on your card and deleting them, the only other option (if you are talking about partial bits on a saved file) is to find someone who may have the Dex Drive, which is an old tool to put memory cards in and transfer the data back and forth from pc to memory card. When it's on your pc, you can do what you want to it.
If neither applies, then seek future progresses by purchasing (if not already) Sony-brand memory cards and taking proper care of them, shielding them from dust getting into the contacts, water, power surges, etc.
Corrupted data has only happened in my experience due to a generic memory card, and never with a Sony.

go to your memory card hit x and delete
