Abercrombie Or Hollister?

Which do you think is better? =)

I personally think Hollister is better.. I just like their clothes better because I'm more of a beachy person and their theme is more beachy.

I disagree completely with the guy above me.. since this is all about opinion, I'm here to voice mine..

The reason I disagree is because Abercrombie/Hollister's clothes are not tacky. I'm not saying you're wrong, but I'm saying if they're so tacky why are they priced at 20$ a shirt, 40-60$ for jeans, 40$ a sweater, ect.. No it's not because our society has no "taste" since everybody has a different taste, you can't tell everybody here what taste is, and then tell them their taste is tacky. Sorry, but taste is like an opinion, you have your own, and your not wrong because it's what you think.

& for all of you who say Hollister copies Abercrombie.. well how can Hollister copy Abercrombie if it's made by the same company? The only way it could be copying is if it were two different companies, but since they're both under the same company, it's not really copying.

& lastly: in my opinion, Hollister's better.

Niether.

There's a reason why such tasteless clothing is sold only (or mainly) in America, and that's because the majority of the nation happens to have no taste.

I will admitt that Hollister, though a bit more tacky at times, is better than Abercrombie by two means:

1: You pay less for the same quality from the same company

2: Abercrombie is increadibly sloppy and inappropriate looking. You're better off going to thrift stores like Salvation army and buying a kid's T-Shirt at Walmart (so what if there's no moose sewn on).

Going back to niether, Hollister generally looks appealing along a warm coastline (primarily the beach). Wear it in California, not New Jersey. Why not spend the same amount of money at a place like Polo, where you can appropriately wear "preppy" clothing and not only buy something that looks contemprorary, but care for an item that will be in style for years to come.

Those ridiculous leggings aren't to be in much longer.

For all of you tasteless teenagers (especially the red necks who wear moose polos with timbs and attempt to speak in ebonics), here is a list of better clothing stores that are about the same price:

Express, Polo, Lacoste, Le Tigre, H & M, Tommy Hilfiger, Calven Klein, DKNY, Bannana Republic (for those working), Guess, FCUK, and for those with extra change (yet still an A n F budget), INC, D and G, and A|X.

Hollister is the fun beach-y look but Abercrombie has a leaning toward classics with a trendy bent that will wear well in your wardrobe for more than a year. I love both looks for those different reasons.

Hollister is owned by Abercrombie.So, their clothes has sort of the same look sometimes. I personally like Hollister better, buthere are other stores you can shop at also like H&M and American eagle, macys, delias, forever 21, charlotte russe, nordstroms.

My friends hates both of those cause americans wear them, but i think abercrombie because hollister sounds like a cheap fabric>>

I would go with Hollister, however, the Abercrombie men's cologne is to die for!! I got some for myself and I get compliments on it all the time! Try it out, its definately worth it! Good Luck!

I don't shop in either of the stores regularly, but Abercrombie is the nicer version of Hollister - Hollister is the nicer version of American Eagle, and American Eagle is the nicer version of Aeropostale. I still like Aero though. :)

Abercrombie but it is a lot more expensive then Hollister...I just don't like Hollister that much...

Hollister is owned by Abercombie. Both have simialr styles, but hollister is cheaper. If you like Hollister more, go for it!

I think that they have MUCH more a of a greater choice.
