You, like most people, as exhibited above, do not know that there are some rubber washers that must go between the seat and the camode and the camode and the nut. These washers seldom come with the new seat. You must buy them separate. So....go back to the hardware store and ask them for the rubber washers for the toilet seat. I've also noticed; stores seldom tell you that you need these washers. Things get awfully squirrelly without these washers, as you have noticed.

Tightening the bolt does not do much good if the bolts are made of plastic and they stretch...good luck and "cowboy-up" to you....

Tighten the screws on the back part of the seat, under the toilet bowl. They're usually plastic so make sure that they aren't cracked or broken.

Make sure you use the 2 sided tape provided between the toilet and the seat mount.tightend down screws firmly.

No i get where your coming from,i have tightened the bolt things and the seat still wobbles and no i haven't got a fat ****

back of the seat may be two plastic pieces. They may lift up and expose two screw heads. Use a large screwdriver to tighten. If real loose then grab the plastic nuts underneath and then screw.

locate the gromits into the recess on the toilet correctly.
