Oh it is so like uninformed people to praise window based pc. I have owned both and my mac is far better than the pc I own. True you don't get a big bundle of watered down programs that change from new software release like windows OS. I have own a pc starting with windows 95 to windows XP. and with each software release you had to get a new pc,Packard Bell,Compaq, HP, and Micron. Not so with my mac. My pc would freeze and then crash. Not one freeze up on my mac. As with all computer purchases do your home work mac now with the Intel chips can have windows OS as well, Comp USA is the best store to go to for sales help plus they have good repair person there well in the very big store's. Just do your research.

I deleted the monitor when I bought my Dell. It only came to $250 that way. They usually come with a keyboard and mouse but the manufacturer gets those for about $10 apiece, so deleting them wouldn't save you much anyway.

Dell has the option to customize your PC's. You can select the option to include/not include monitor or keyboards. Price will be adjusted accordingly.

you are looking for just the CPU (the tower itself). Don't say PC (personal computer) or else they will think youre silly. PC means the whole thing - go to any store and tell them you want a CPU

Yeah, you can find them at your local computer store. Just ask the salesperson for a "barebones system" without the components that you're talking about.

If your local stores refuse, then you can find systems online at newegg.com and other online retailers. I recommend newegg, because they have the best reputation and "track record."
