A friend is visiting from out of town and is driving me nuts. She has 'issues" and has ruined my Christmas and is making me feel uncomfortable in my own home. I am so angry and just want her gone. How do I tell her to make arrangements to fly home tomorrow? I am afraid she is going to flip out on me--help!!

this is a tough situation to handle... I have faced this situation myself and it didnt go well... she didnt flip out or anything but when I said it was too hard to have her in my home any longer she did get really sad ... I felt bad... it took a while for the friendship to recover fromit... but it did recover... eventually...

My heart goes out to you and your friend...

i would just tell her that I'm not up for house guests any longer and need to be alone now to deal with some personal issues...and you are so grateful she is such an understanding friend and will be more then happy to help her make arrangements to fly home
then never invite her to stay with you anymore...
