I was wondering when the next date that the Wii will be available in the United States, specifically, northern California. I would like to be ready on the next day that the Wii will be sold in stores waiting at the front door, but I am having trouble finding when exactly that is.
Also, I don't want to buy it for over aproximately $250; nor would I like to sign up for a "free Wii" so don't put any stuff like "Try ebay" or "Go to this site for a free Wii! It really works!"

I got a $200 Walmart gift-card for Christmas and I have enough money to pay the difference once it comes out.
I was more looking for an announcement of when the next shipment off Wii's will be sent to the United States. Again, I don't want any websites to buy it at, I just want to know when it will be restocked at Walmart in northern California.

I have the same problem.
Walmart has Wii gift-cards for $250 specifically for the Wii when it becomes available...that's probably your best non-scam choice.

With tax, the Wii will cost like $265. I just bought one today at EB games, they said they just got 3 in, and luckily, I snagged one, but ALWAYS ASK if they have one, and if they say no, look REALLY depressed, and they'll finally give in. (Thats what I had to do)
Don't pay $300, $400 for it. Thats outrages. It's not a PS3. I just got extremely lucky. If you wait a month, I guarantee they'll be on the shelves and you wont have to kill people or spend 3 paychecks to get it.
Be patient and be in the right place at the right time.
