according to survey 5 (woman) is to 1(men). But according to my observation 10(woman) is to 1(men) because there is many gay today than 10 years ago.

I personally believe that this changes year to year. For example the yr my daughter was born in the hospital were pretty much all female babies and all the children I know born in that yr were female (bar a few obviously) and then the year my son was born I found the same thing.
I think it goes in swings and roundabouts

105 baby boys are born for every 100 baby girls.
Since boys/young men are more likely to die from illness, accidents, murder, and suicide than girls, the ratio becomes equal by the time those babies are in their 30s. Since women live longer than men, once those babies are in their 70s, the stats will have reversed themselves and there are more women than men.
The gap would be much larger if it weren't for this interesting fact: for every 100 girls conceived, 125 boys are conceived. But because the Y chromosome is more fragile, more boys are miscarried than girls. By the time birth arrives, the stats are 105 live boys for every 100 live girls.

In America where female babies are valued and revered, it's probably even. In India, where you treat women like property, it's about 3 to 1, male to female.

there is equal probability for male and female child. this is because sperms with y chromosome gives male and x gives female offsprings.one x and one y sperm are made from a single cell (containing both x and y chromosomes) in man. so half of the sperms will be x and half y. so male and female children are equally probable.
