Yes. Afterall, it's still called light brown. If you took off brown then the hair color would just be called light, and that could mean various different colors. Light blonde, light black, light auburn...

Som people will refer to light brown hair as dark blonde or dirty blonde...but I don't like that term (or blonde hair...I'm a light brown/chestnut color, so I take offense to it). My way of reasoning was...if you take a brown crayon...the color is just about similar, if not slightly lighter than light brown hair.

Yes. It is still brown hair, so it is still brunette, even if it is lighter.

yes. Literally no. But light brown hair is still darker than blonde.
