We also cannot move it; the brake seems to be locked. I had it delivered to the neighbor's house, and now I can't get it home!

I found the sight . You will have to sift through the rest with your mower info.
Good luck!

I don't think the 115 has a clutch. I think there is some kind of mechanism in it (like at the back) that you have to pull to be able to push it, something to do w/ hydrolics. I think the brake lock would be on the left side of the steering wheel. Also, check at the John Deere web site, they may have the instructions on-line.

If it has a Hydrostatic transmission there is a lever or some sort of rod located somewhere in the rear that you have to engage and dis-engage. you put it in one position and you can roll the machine easily, this opens a valve inside the transmission and allows the fluid to flow straight through, when the lever or rod is in the other position this is for when you want to operate the machine. Good luck...

Tell him to put in neutral, step on the clutch, put the throttle to choke, and turn the key. Good luck and hold on tight!
