I have a new shark sewing machine and the thread won't go through the fabric. I know it is the right size and that I threaded is correctly. Also, whenever I start sewing any fabric, the top thread always somehow comes undone from the needle. I do not know what the problem is.

It seems the machine has a problem in catching the loop, I believe the best you can do is bring it to a repair shop, normally it's not too expensive and they do good job, I took my wife's machine for repair a couple of months ago and now is working perfect..☺

Your problem is the #1 reason why people don't sew more often. It's better to get a Viking, Pfaff, or Bernina than to deal with the Big Box Store special. The only thing I can reason here specifically is to pull about 6" through the needle before you start sewing.
Checked at a site I'm a member of and a lot of complaints about the bobbin jamming. Maybe that's where you need to look.
