This can be for different kinds of reasons but all comes down to a simple equation : what you eat- what gets burned. Some people are a lot physically active, so they burned a lot of the calories they eat while exercising. Some have a really fast metabolism in general, so same thing again : they burn a lot of calories. So in order to not get big, you have to spend most of the calories you take in. If you do, you don't get big but if you don't, then you'll get since you're with a calories surplus.

They have a fast metabolism... they exercise.... they eat the right foods... Don't worry if they are young, it will catch up to them. Maybe they are on meth?
