I have a new shark sewing machine and the thread won't go through the fabric. I know it is the right size and that I threaded is correctly. Also, whenever I start sewing any fabric, the top thread always somehow comes undone from the needle. I do not know what the problem is.

Make sure you have both top and bottom thread "tails" flowing out away from you and manually sink the needle down into the fabric before you start to sew.

Are you sure it's threaded correctly? Look in the directions for the correct path for the thread on top and bottom and see if that helps.
