Yes I did; I had an uncle who's dead now, and he LOVED JB; seriously; I got two sets of his greatest hits and to me, a legend, a great man has died today; I will definitely miss him; R.I.P. Godfather of Soul, Hardest Working Man In Show Business.

Yeah I loved James Brown's music it was so good when i found out he was dead i was in shock.

so sad. I'm kinda young but i know his music and his influence in all of today's music from rap to rock. It's sad to see all these great entertainers pass away.

yeah, it sucks, but what can ya do. i liked his music even tho im a white boy from iowa. had to laugh the first time i saw mick jagger try to imitate him. he did a really bad job.
