The National Taxpayers Union provides a Presidential Pension Graph that shows estimated pension benefits of former presidents. Bill Clinton stands to collect $7.29 million, the most of any living ex-president, while Ronald Reagan's pension is just over $2.5 million.

NTU estimated that Clinton would immediately receive an annual pension of $151,800 if he were to resign in 1998. He could collect $6.34 million over his retired lifetime, assuming he lives to the age of 81.4 years, the average life expectancy for a man his age. The Presidential pension is linked to the pay of a cabinet-level secretary, and rises automatically as that salary grows.

He doesn't get paid a salary. He does get secret service protection for the rest of his life.

correction: starting with GWB, a President receives secret service protection for a maximum of 10 years after they are out of office.
