download anything from the internet
and read the transfer
if its 256 kb speed then it will read in tranfer in download 30 kb /second
if its 512 kb dsl speed it will read with u 60 kb kb / second in download
if its 1 miga speed then it will read with u 120 or 100 k/ second

go to 2wire.net up in the corner you will see a square that says speed meter. click on that
