A friend of mine has done some formatting in my computer, the result of which was big icons on the desktop and big font size to the extent that the font size number 12 looks as if it were number 14. I want to make everything smaller. Thanks.

Right click on the desktop and select Properties
Go to the Settings tab in the window that appears
You will see a slide bar on the left center
Move that slide to the right to decrease the size of the icons and fonts.

You can right click on your desktop, and left click on Properties. In the Properties box you should be able to find out how to change the font size for your icons and the font.
