when u get your ipod there is a white plus that goes into your ipod directly and the other end goes into your computers (USB) plug. if you dont have a computer to charge it with then you can go out and buy a plug up charge kit. hopes this helps. you can always go here to http://wwws.musicmatch.com/faq/IPOD018.htm

depends which generation ur pod is

4th and 5th generations... ie is video picture and nano pods can be charged via comp USB2 ( the flat slot in front n back of ur CPU)

older ones require docking station plugged to electricity.....

but for comp it would be easier and hassle free if u also got i tunes comp recognizes ipod then easily

just with comp make sure to disconnect it via itunes or on the active button on ur right lower corner of screen.....
i mean dont pull the wire when it says dont disconnect can coz damage to pod

plug the included cable into your i pod. Then, plug the other end into your computer's USB port. However, you don't need a computer. Many speakers charge your i pod while it's being docked.
