Hi Freemario777. Isn't that odd - I have the same problem. I think we must live in the same house!

Funny thing about mice, they seem to have evolved into super intelligent mice. We are now dealing with a new race of 'Super Mice' who will soon become the dominant species on this planet. If there was to be a nuclear holocaust, only the mice would survive. Sorry that's not much help answering your question. So, just enjoy them, they are rather cute after all and it's all part of nature.

My cat regularly brings mice into the house to play with and then loses interest. I've found the best way to get rid of them is with a good old-fashioned mousetrap baited with cheddar cheese smeared with peanut butter - the mice do seem to like the combination!

I think those old-fashioned traps that are made of wood with a spring that catches them when they reach for the bait are the best. The are very inexpensive and reloadable. You will need to look the other way when you catch them, but you can flush them down the toilet quickly, reset the trap and continue until they are gone.

I don't think it nice to have a pet catch mice. Mice are dirty and then your pet will have eaten up some mice. Ik!

Borrow a friend's cat. Make sure the cat is well fed and not hungry. It's not true that hungry cats are better. Cats hunt better when they are well fed and energetic. Just think about it? Wouldn't you be a better athelete, quicker, and in the mood for a really fun game if you were full and well-rested? Starving cats are not very good hunters.
