In commercials, because they're paid to :)
At commercials, the same reason anyone laughs at a tv show or a movie. It was written to be funny.

No one likes to laugh alone. Unfortunately, the laugh tracks have become so ridiculous. They try to make us laugh at everything!
Some shows (West Wing was a great example) have a very minimal sound and laugh track. At first, it's sort of weird, because there is almost no background noise. Then it becomes really interesting, once you bet used to it.

People laugh in commercials, because, they are paid to laugh. I laugh at the commercials, because of they are silly.

Because it is commercially appropriate. People add it to make it seem as though people are having fun. This subconsciously makes people want to join in the fun, even if they don't realize it.

at commercials or in commercials i laugh at some commercials cause they are funny
