I lost the little ding sound when I get a new email. I wonder if that is something to do w/yahoo or not.

If you were being alerted about new mail by Yahoo Messenger, you have to re-install it.

It may have been Yahoo Toolbar as well.

What email service are you using? It depends on what it is, if it was MSN or Hotmail, it would instead be the MSN Messenger or Windows Live Messenger:

I would'nt worry about that,my computer is getting errors every 4 minutes so your lucky, anyways you could just simply un-install it and re-install it and the sound should come back,that simply means delete it and put it back on get my drift ? unless you use the yahoo website which then i dont no haha :P

have to click on control panel, or go into yahoo preferences, and click yes to be notified of new mail, but hope you get it back and you had a MERRY CHRISTMAS

Do to START > CONTROL PANEL > SOUNDS
Associate that sound with a new mail.
