If I highlight that space if still shows all the sights I have ever been to.

Delete all the form information from your cache. If you are not using Firefox, download Firefox as your browser which will let you do this.

Select What to Clear -> Browser History item.

Check the Clear Toolbar Search History option.

Click the Clear now button.

If you want to clear Toolbar search history automatically:
Double-click the ClearAllHistory tray icon or right-click the ClearAllHistory tray icon and select the Open Main Window item.

Click the Tools button in the toolbar.
Select Settings.

Select the necessary scheduler option:Clear selected items on program start, Clear selected items on program exit and/or Clear selected items every set period of time option(s) and click the Apply button.

Select What to Clear -> Browser History item and check the Clear Toolbar search history option.

Click the Apply button.

Click on arrow(pull down menu) at end of Yahoo search bar. You can clear or enable from there or click on the pencil menu and clear search.

tools>internet options>privacy(category)>clear history for firefox
tools>internet options>general(category)>delete temporary files

if Vista: goto kit > internet ideas > usual > surfing historic previous > Delete > and decide what you opt directly to delete if XP: look in the final you will discover something there to delete temp records

on your tool bar-far right hand corner ir says tools
click on that and it tell you how to clear everything out

To delete individual searches from 'History' using Windows IE6
>click 'History'
>click 'View'
>click 'By Order Visited Today'
>left click on search to be deleted
>click 'Delete'

To delete individual searches from drop down menu:
>hover pointer on search to highlight, then hit the 'delete' key on your keyboard.
