1. Open itunes
2. Put in a cd
3. The music from the cd should show up on itunes. There is a button on the top right that should say something like 'copy music'
4. Press the copy music button. The music will be put onto your computers harddrive.
5. Select the music by clicking on it, and drag it onto your ipod on the left side of the screen(the little bar that says library and radio and such)

Go to apple.com/itunes and download iTunes.

Insert the CD in your CD-ROM drive. Its icon should appear in iTunes. Selecting it should give you a list of the tracks on the CD.

Select the tracks you want to import and click "Import."

Once you've imported all the songs you want to import from your CD library, connect your iPod to the computer and follow the onscreen instructions.
