Not me. Mine ended up not talking after numerous fights. Its nice and quiet now but family get togethers will restart the usual booze driven rows.

People seem to use alcohol as an excuse to let go of their emotions. Unfortunately, holidays are one of those times.
I lucked out that my folks were always selective in the amount of alcohol they consumed and we never had that type of holiday.
