Be careful using pliers to open the tube. I actually ripped the tube and the glue went everywhere. The cap stayed stuck to the bottle. Just replace it.

You can't. That's how they get you. The super glue is soooo super that if you have any get into the cap, it will glue itself shut and then you have to buy more. That's why they come in little containers instead of big ones - like all other adhesives come in.
At least, they're cheap...

fingernail polish remover is about the only thing that dissolves super glue....good luck....
