We imagine OUR voice in our heads because it's the only way to describe OUR thinking process. Most of us think how we talk...so since we hear what we say we add our voice to our mind when we think.

They probably still think no! or yes! but it's more text or image based. Because that's how they've learned to talk. When they learn to read it probably becomes like text.

When we were are all babies we were the same way. We couldn't talk so we would think of an image that we wanted and when we saw it we would get excited or scared.

a number of my profoundly deaf acquaintances say that they could listen at the same time as they dream, yet some say that they don't. some say that they dream in signal, some say that they don't. i will hearken to when I dream, yet i replaced into not born deaf (even although i'm not deaf now). I also dream in signal each from time to time too, yet extra in many circumstances than not, i do not.

Since dreams are a connection to reality + mind parodies or thoughts, I think that blind AND deaf people SINCE BIRTH may have (sad to say) a possibility that their mind creates a new universe with diversity since the mind has difficulty to suck in reality. it still sucks in but with only olfaction, gestation, feeling, static, organic, and kinesthetic sensations. (this may be applicable to other people who were either blind or deaf since birth, additional sensation: Vision or audition)
Other people who have been blind or deaf under an UNFORTUNATE TRAGEDY or ILLNESS may use that things they recorded before they encountered that and then the rest follows................

just because someone is deaf doesn't mean that they don't think and have dreams. they can see all the things that goes on in this world.

I wasn't always deaf. I still have those little tape recorded messages that play in my head . Mostly just have visuals.
