Definitely the first thing that needs to be determined is is she pregnant. Ectopic pregnancy is the first problem ruled out by health care providers because it can be so dangerous. There are MANY other things that cause sharp lower abd pain in females however. As always, if she and/or you are significantly concerned, seek medical attention immediately. Do not stress over anything until you actually have something to stress over.

Headaches can also be apart of a normal pregnancy so can the sharp pain. sometimes the info in books can scare you into thinking the worst. How far along is she? B/c usually an epotic pregnancy pain will be almost inbearble. Chances are she is probaly fine. HAs she had her first check up at the doc? If so they normally do at internal check up and they can tell the baby's in the right place. If not advice her to make one soon so it will cut down on your worries. I know you guys are in college but at least your bettering yourself. It will be a little tougher with a little one but together you two can do it! there is a lot of help out there.

Take her to a doctor right away! Ectopic pregnancy is potentially life threatening, and you don't have any time to waste! Better be sure... Regarding money, hope she's got insurance, 'cos insurance will cover it! And if not - well, if it's ectopic pregnancy, she's gotta have a surgery anyway! Sorry, but I only see one way out - take her to a doc as soon as possible! And hope for good luck.

Tell her you are concerned she may have an ectopic pregnancy and get her to check if she is pregnant on a urine test. If positive, get her to a hospital ASAP. Abdominal pain and pregnancy is an ectopic pregnancy until proven otherwise. It is a potential fatal condition.
By the way, an ectopic pregnancy is non-viable.

Headache is a pain in the head, scalp or neck. Headaches can be
caused by minor problems like eyestrain, lack of coffee or more
serious reasons like head injury, brain tumors, encephalitis and
meningitis. Taking painkillers continuously can have harmful side
effects, so it is better to modify your lifestyle. More information

First find out if she is pregnant. Then if she is having severe pain take her to the ER and tell them she is pregnant. If it's not so severe(more like a period) have her call a doctor or go to the health dept. when they open tomorrow. If you need assistance you can file for that. She may qualify for Medicaid for pregnant women. The health dept can help you with that.

It looks like things are going to change for you. If she's pregnant I think she already knows. You'll both need to get a job to support the baby. You both wil be fine.
