Out of respect and loyalty to my best friend, I try my hardest to stay away from him. I don't want to stab her in the back because she really means a lot to me. What should I do? My best friend and her husband are in their forties and I am in my twenties. My best friend helped me recover from drugs and alcohol and she is always there for me when I need someone and I am always there for her as well. But, I really do like her husband in a sexual way. To me, it's really sickens me that I have these feelings. I could go on and on, but the bottom line I want to fall out of love with my best friend's husband. Her friendship means more to me than a fling. Please advise on what I should do. Thank you in advance.

I think you answered your own question when you said her friendship means more to you than a fling. Don't ruin a good thing. I know its hard, but you need to realize he loves his wife, and the both of you stand to loose a good thing . I really don't think it is love, I think you think it is love because for her to be there for you so was her hubby. I think it is more of a crush, and crushes can be ended when you put what is important to you first.

fIND AN EXCUSE TO STOP BEING AROUND THEM!

Join a gym! Volunteer! Take longer shifts at work!
Register with a dance studio!

Find a new hubby! Your feelings for him are gonna dwindle with time!

I know that you feel bad, but distance is the best thing that you can do for the situation right now!

goodluck

Control yourself.
My best friend is in love with me, and I'm married to another man. My friend knows where he stands, and wouldn't do anything to compromise the marriage I'm involved with, despite his feelings for me.

Never let feelings come between a friendship. Feelings may fade, but friendships do not.

If your friendship means that much to you I would NOT do ANYTHING with this man. Keep your fantasies to yourself and respect your friendship. She sounds like a wonderful person.

I'm talking seriously now :)
During you're alone,if you could sleep with him a day,
do so , and observe if his sexual feelings are appearing on him,
(i.e) , try to see his re-action,
if you felt his sexual actions ,
Don't try to show that you dislikes his actions, just be patient :)
But examine yourself if you're never going to talk to him again,
if you didn't feel his sexual actions are working,
Tell him seriosly that you are loving other guy & control yourself !!

Feelings come and go .. You need to keep telling your self you dont want him. Focus on something else to keep your mind and eyes off of him. Be strong DONT give in to feelings they can ruin your whole life!!!!!

Good LUCK

Stay away from them and get over it. It might be fun for an hour - but the effects afterwards will be pure HELL.

I agree with the person who said it's lust...you are going to hurt your friend after she helped you with your problems...that is treacherous...we all have desires...you need to find a single man to keep you satisfied...so you can stop lusting after a married one.

It has nothing to do with love, it is lust, envy, you want what your best friend has, wishing you had her life, you need to stay away from both of them, and find someone els
