I got a Motorola SLVR for christmas and it's great...except for the fact that it won't let me receive phone calls or texts. I have no number i have to phone to verify it or anything. I have fully charged it and turned it on/off. I can call people from the phone it's just receiving things that it won't do.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Try going to the settings menu - initial setup and scroll down to Master reset or Master clear....only thing with this is you will have to reset your ringtone, wallpaper, screen colour etc...it's worth a go!! good luck!

Wait, you have no number? No cell carrier? Get a carrier first (I assume the phone is unlocked) and then you will get what ever you need to get done happen for you. Of course you wont get to do stuff without a number!
