Give what? A divorce? Sex? A gift?
Thumbs up for being vague! WOOO!
How about this--talk to him and decide together what's best for YOUR FAMILY. You married him. Now you have to deal with him.

It is not required for "the men to give in" to get a divoice
First of all U have to see a lawer and have to file a divoce suit against him.....U have to place a cause for why u r seeking the divoice, There are only some specific cause bonded by the law for which u can seek divoce..ur lawer will advice u on that.
Then u have to stay seperate from him and his house for a time period of say six month (the time duration may depend upon on which part of the globe u r in) before u get any verdict from the court.
If u file a suit separately not by mutual consent, the process could take longer, especially if ur husband does not provide his consent.
But beware, things could get murky with all the dirty linen being washed in court.
In the event he does not appear in the court, you can get a positive decision instantly.
But remember and be mentally prepared to face all the odds and factors u or ur childrens will have to face socially and mentally in the future, before filing up such suits.
But that's ur opinion...u have every rights to plan or modify ur future life. Good luck.

Its really required for both of you to sit together and discuss openly about what's the BEST for you both and your family (kids if any). Think and discuss (pros and cons) seriously about your relationship and repercussions of a divorce in your life because its a very serious matter. Try to resolve all your issues harmoniously if possible rather than entering into a divorce. Remember... marriage is a committment of life for both... we both are equally responsible to make a happy family. Seek a 'Marriage Counselling' if not able to reslove your family issues... it really helps in many cases...
In US, the Court will enforce a divorce within the stipulated time say (60 days or 90 days) depends on the state law, if no response from the other party to your divorce notice, within that time.
Hope this information will help.
Good Luck!

First you have to know how to spell divorce (spell check is a good thing)...
Next, you file for a divorce. You don't 'get' it. Once you file for a divorce, it doesn't matter if someone is not ready, they have to respond. They can make the process a long one, but they can't stop it once you have filed.
Have you filed? If you haven't , then you are never going to 'get' divorced. You have to start somewhere. Once you do it, then it's your responsibility at that point.
Additionally, you say 'men...' Don't you mean, 'your man'?
Go to a courthouse and get 'edumakated' (yeah, 'edumakated' was a cruel shot, but you set yourself up for it) on divorce, then file for one if you really want out.
