Today has been a blissful day here in our floating home. Our Christmas is different from most. Our friends and family are far away and we have no tree, nor any decorations as space is limited on a sailboat. We do have some small little gifts to exchange but nothing special ( I hope I'm getting a new pocket knife this year). Christmas to us is a day to laugh, love and recall all the happy times of the past.
Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas. No matter where you are, or how you spend this holiest of days always remember the true reason for the season and keep the spirit of Christmas in your heart today and all year through.

We are missing our family christmas celebration because the 2 1/2 year old is sick. She has been running a fever of 104 since yesterday. I changed our plans so now we will be having a nice quiet dinner at home while we play with the new toys.

Wearing pajama's and a robe that clash....given by different people. A ridiculous ribbon in my hair....nursing a slight hangover...wishing I could wear the same size jeans I wore last week......wondering when I'll clean up this horrible mess.....wishing my family had left their animals at home.....Loving every minute of this the most wonderful day of the YEAR!!!!!
MERRY CHRISTMAS!
