I remember there being all kinds of hyp around the holidays for the parades. They just seem kind of dull, and boring now.

I've never known anyone to go to a parade that isn't involved with the parade directly or indirectly. It's just one big advertisement going down the middle of the street. I have never liked parades.

We watched this mornings parade at Disneyworld. They had a few good singers and it was liked by my 3 year old and our family. We also watch the Thanksgiving parade every year too.

Yes I watched part of one. I too feel like they are getting more and more commericialized and NOT about the true meaning anymore, which to me was centered around the kids, but now it seems to be more of a five mile long advertisement of buy what I am selling instead of the joy for children.

I watched the Disney parade, but that's just cause I'm a Disney freak. (I'm 26 y/o and wearing a tinkerbell watch, shirt, and mickey earrings...Ok, I can admit it's a little abnormal...) It wasn't that great, though...Kinda teared up because I wanna go back to DisneyWorld, though...

Instead of using my new gifts I'm sitting here, being bored on yahoo answers. My brothers are complaining and throwing fits, my sister is trying to get her ipod to work, my mom is trying to glue a model ariplane, my other brother is asleep and my dad is out working in the mud on his tracktor.

For my family, it's just something nice to have on while we're eating Christmas morning breakfast or opening presents. It's nice for the kids, but I don't pay much attention to it.
