personally I do not look forward to "electronic' sounds as a replacement.I can take it in small doses though.I miss new releases by the ole school musicians and am encouraged by those that have learned from them..hoping they keep it respectful...so far we still have BB king.......among a few others.....but yeah it is sad..for those of us who love it......we've got some great ones coming up in the younger generation though, such as some of those mentioned .....and many others.

Soul Music will crash in 2040 because Music will dramatically change to electronics as the main voice signal and this will put all singers to a minimum hault.\\America is waiting for thebig change in music and it is around the corner.
Imagine when you turn on the radio, all you hear is electronic music and the hair styles and clothes styles will also change dramatically and the empire of a new world will erupt and Rap will become a thing of history.

I guess the younger generation of singers have to step up to replace them. Singers like r.kelly, avant, genuwine, usher and all of the other singers with the potential to become great soul artists.

Nobody can replace the Godfather of Soul but there's no doubt his legend will live on. Just think of the impact he's had on music - he may be gone but definitely will never be forgotten!

James Brown was one of a kind; I had a friend that knew him and she said that he was a quiet soft spoken man; and although he had his share of troubles, I was sad to hear of his passing; Can he be replaced? I don't think so; but at least, we have his music to go by.
