Should you submit a cover letter with your resume if your gonna submit in person?

Sure, it will help you present yourself better, and a little bit extra never hurts. It may help your resume to stand out more above the crowd when the HR dept. is calling people for interviews.

Absolutely.
First off, a lot of times the resume you submit "in person" is just taken by a secretary or assistant, not the person reading it. Even if it is a higher-up, they may have another person or two who will read it without you there.


The cover letter is your chance to make an impact secondary to your resume and you don't want to waste that chance.
