When talking about 8 gb flash compared to 8 gb hard drive?

Hi when calculated both will hold the same as when your hard drive is 8GB or 8GB flash memory.

After the exact bytes are calculated it it will be less than 8GB for both or less.

technically, a flash drive/flash memory is simply a portable flash drive. They can hold a nice amount of data hwever cower in comparison to a good hd.

depends what you mean. a 2gb flash card holds the same as a 2gb hard drive.

but whereas the biggest flash card you can get is 8gb (i know, there are bigger, shut up, its irrelevant to my point), the biggest hard drives are like 500gb. so obviously the 500gb hard drive will hold a lot more.
