If they did, India would b more powerful in terms of economy and military and could save some Bangladesh people escaping poverty. Most governments don't like to re-unite with their former country because they want power themselves. I wish India, Pakistan and Bangladesh re-unite and become a peaceful nation, if that happened they would be very strong, afterall they are all the same blood and ethnic. It is just the religions and rascism that has broken off these people into separate countries (after India gained its independence from the British). The British also played a part in the separation and violence feud between these people. When India separated into Pakistan and India, the British separated the region Kashmir, so the Pakistan and Indians could have a long feud between each other and make little progress.

To tell you the truth there is no real point in the nation of Pakistan and it would make no difference if they unite.India has more muslim people then Pakistan. The whole purpouse of Pakistan was to have a safe Haven for muslims but the plan bakfired on them.India has way more muslims. So yes they should unite.I think the Pakistani leaders will understand this soon.

Yes a common Pakistani has no ill will against India and the same is true vice-versa.
Europe fought two world wars, a bloody and a messy affair....European Union could not have been envisaged 50 years back!
If the two countries do unite we shall have no problems regarding border, water and nuclear disputes.

YES, alike it was before their independance from Great Britain.
But you will before have to wait and expect :
-a big eartquake \ or_and /
-1 série de séismes | en français dans le texte |
with various floods and landslides because unless occurence of Acts of God , people does not matter of being good and wise .
For welldoing as humans, these countries should create railways to Afghanistan :
to Kabul through the Khyber pass,
to Kandahar.......... and Kazakstan forward Russia Ural towns',
- towards IRAN with Karachi _ Koramshar and Quetta _ Qom ; this last line used to be on the first half of XX° Christian Century ; It desserved Bam and was steam operated I imagine, part of an unrealised scheme to link Persia to Indochina via Birman & Siam .

S. they will unite in UTOPIA.. It is the British Govt which sowed the dragon's teeth here and it is the curse of the nation that we will fight always. If it happens as per your wish, definitely Both will emerge a strong, super power in this world. Lot of money which both are spending for military, spy work etc. will be channalised for productive purposes which will solve our economic problem.
WILL IT HAPPEN?

You are talking of India and Pakistan integration, but
I am afraid India will disintegrate into Cantons where each canton has its own constitution, legislature, government and courts due to irrational socioeconomic inequalities between urban and rural areas.

No, even though they are "biological brothers", they are torn too deep by religion. You can't say that this dispute is over any form of racism.
But then again, you can say the same for Ireland. And that dispute is over 2 different sects of the SAME religion. I can't ever envision N. Ireland breaking from the UK and uniting with the rest of Ireland.
