Well i've never found it tough to get one from a baseball player..but my toughest experience for getting an auto was a basketball player..When i was going to the Bahamas, I saw Patrick Ewing on the plane..i'm only 16 years old by the way..i ask him for his auto and these were his exact words, "I don't do autographs on a plane." But then I saw a different basketball player on the plane..that guy was Voshon Lenard from the Portland Trailblazers and he gladly gave me his autograph..That was my experience..it actually happened this past summer

I guess the hardest players to get autographs from are the dead ones...lol.
Over the past two summers I have gotten a lot of the Yankees autographs. So I have to disagree with other posters who say they are the hardest. I have gotten, Jeter, Posada, Riveria, Damon, Johnson, Abreu, Melky, Matsui, and Giambi. They were all really nice about it. Yankee Stadium is one of the hardest place to get the autographs. I go to Baltimore and catch them in the mall in the inner harbor. I got all of the autographs while they were there.

All Yankees players. I waited with several fans, many young kids, outside Legends field in Tampa. Not one player stopped to sign autographs. Jeter, Bernie, Mo, everyone just left. The ONLY person to stop was Steinbrenner, who signed autographs for about 10 minutes. George is a very nice guy - does not deserve all the bad press he gets.

Randy Myers! Yah, the mediocre relief pitcher during the mid-90s. He had his best seasons on the Reds and the Cubs. Dude, would only sign baseball cards of the current team that he was on but he changed teams so much at the end of his career that it was almost impossible to have a card of him on that team.
One time when he was on the Padres, I saw him tell a 8 yr old that he wouldn't sign his ball because the kid already had alot of signatures on it. There was still room on the ball, he was just being mean. The boy even cried after Randy walked away...
Boo!

Tommy Lasorda's fat self, We Live here in LA home to dodgers and his fat self. Rolled down to Pitsburg for the 2006 AllStar game. We get there wearing our Dodger Uniforms we happen to stumble into him and asked him for an autograph and he said if I gave you an autograph I would have to give everyone an autograph. All though we were the only ones actually talking to him. Damn Coach a team to the Championship and it all goes to your head lol

This one is easy! Without a doubt Lefty, Steve Carlton. He would never sign autographs. He would even wear cotton in his ears so he could not hear the media or fans.
Even after retiring he would not do public appearances!
