I was reading the responses prior to writing this. I normally just say what is on my mind, but this time I made an exception.
It is amazing to me how many said it didn't affect them so why not? It does affect you. If the states pass civil union laws then that means that they can ultimately apply for state assistance, among other things. Guess who pays for state assistance? Oh yeah. You and I. It does affect you. I am tolerant of same sex relationships, we all have the freedom to choose how we want to behave, but that doesn't mean that I agree with or support same sex marriage. Marriage is clearly defined these days as a union between 1 man and 1 woman. Period. That's how each state has defined it, with very few exceptions. There is a reason that it has been defined that way.
So please stop pushing it on me. It is annoying and unappreciated.

although it is their business I think it is against all that is natural. Does anyone know of any animals having same sex pairing? How can the species continue with same sex coupling? Nothing natural about that.

i think nothing can be hurt by it.. i mean if they both want to go forward together in life who can be the judge of how and why they are doing it.Most gay couples adopt children that would otherwise be in the social services. i think that if it is done out of love and they aren't hurting anyone than they should be able to do what they want.

First...have the courage to come out of the closet. Second, stop saying "my friend..." about things that concern you. And Third, stop caring about what people think and be happy. Gosh!
