an alchie and C-H-E-A-P!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I feel for you for having a true and caring heart for looking after those dear, sweet innocent children whose lives that you have clearly enriched by you kindness and gernerousity. I would normally say that you need to stop having anything to do with this person but I'm not in this situation because the children an innocents and shouldn't be made to pay for their parent's bad judgement. Instead I would suggest that you talk to them and let them know that you don't appreciate how little thought went into such an inappropriate gift as that for all that you've done for them and how you have looked after their children. Also you need to explain to them that you aren't going to make the kids pay but they should've put more thought into the gift that you were going to receive and if they couldn't afford to get you something appropriate for all the time that you had devoted to the children then they least they could have gotten you was a nice Christmas card for the whole family to have signed.
Since they don't drink and obviously not poor then they have really crappy manners and are totally ungrateful for all that you do for them by taking care of their kids. Tell them that their level of gratitude is extremely UNDERwelming and they should be a whole lot more grateful for all that you do for their kids.
Hope you have a Very Merry Christmas anyway.

Hes A cool guy who doesn't feel the need to measure what he buys for Christmas. Just go with it, if that's all you've got to complain about then i call that ungrateful

Someone who'd had 5 lagers on their way to delivering it to you!
(Or maybe: Someone with 5 other unpaid child-care provders....)
Seriously, though, it was probably intended as a token. I'd try to see it that way, if it were me... It's the thought, right?
Happy Holidays!

I got $5 on my 16th birthday from my uncle. I am a Christmas baby, so it was like, $2.50 per occasion. That's f*cking cheap.

Are you serious? Maybe there's a reason you've been acting as surrogate parents to their kids...they're alcoholics!
