If i Invest in pounds?

If i convert my US dollar to Pounds and invest in something in euro will it grow faster because the pound is heavier than the dollar? And what would be good to invest into

I reckon the price of the dollar will increase over the pound. It is the wrong time now to sell USD for GBP.
