It's 8 weeks.
Plenty of exercise and marching.

Navy boot camp is 8 weeks, not counting the weekends, which makes it 13 weeks in all. Get ready to have a ball. LOL Push-ups, sit ups, jumping jacks, squat thrust, running, going to school, marching, hurry hurry, and wait. Getting yelled at for nothing. Hope you are going in during cooler weather. I made the mistake of going in during August. Big mistake, but I lost 40 lbs. Good luck buddy. You will need it. Word of advice. Do what you are told, keep your mouth shut unless you are asked something by CEO (chief petty officer) or higher ranked officer, and make yourself a good friend, and don't pay any attention to some of the jerks in there that will tell you a bunch of houses**t to get you into trouble. Good luck.

I went through Air Force boot camp and they fill your head with tons of information about the service and history and train your body. Exercise, march, drill, learn, eat, sleep, everyday. They teach you how to work with others you don't know at all. You have to trust that they will have your back because if you're in a situation where you need to trust someone you have to trust them and they have to trust you. Basically they break you down and build you back up stronger and more regimented to what will do the best for the military way of thinking and doing things. It is difficult because some people don't want to lose their individuality. Hope this gives you a better understanding of what they go through.
