I am sort of dating this guy, but we decided we are going to take things very slow, he is recently divorced and we are both busy with life. Yesterday he came buy and put together a four wheeler for my son. Today he text me merry christmas, I wished him one back and thanked him for putting the four wheeler together his response was. " That's what friends are for- have fun today" ?????? Was he dropping a hint or what? Or am I over analyzing?

You are both on the friendship level right now, that's part of taking things slow. You get to know each other as friends, and then you see where it takes you from there. If a relationship forms, or if it doesn't.

I think that means he just wants to take things slow. If he just recently got divorced, he may not be ready to make a big commitment right now. Give him the some time and don't rush him if he isn't ready, that will just chase him away. Hopefully, in time the relationship might turn into something more. Even if it doesn't, it sounds like you found a caring man who will be there to help you and a can be a wonderful friend.

if a gal did something similar you may need to read more into it but for most guys you are over analyzing. smile and enjoy the relationship and keep "taking it very slow" as you agreed

I feel that you are over analyzing this. It is a simple comment. Don't read into it more then was probably meant. Go slowly, you both have been in relationships, so there is no rush.

He is just being normal and friendly.
Any decent guy would do the same. There is no hint.
But that don't mean that he is not hoping for the relation to go further. If he plays it like I would... he'll keep being nice to you until you are ready.
